Blue Heron Botanicals sends out a big thank you to the Humboldt Business Challenge once again. On September 1, Blue Heron Botanicals was the proud recipient of a $2000 Cash Award intended to promote local entrepreneurs in Humboldt County. This was the third and final stage of the competition that just competed its first year running. The intent of the challenge is to help local start-up’s and existing businesses wanting to expand through a competition that promotes business planning for future success. Winners are selected based on viability and impact on our local community. Competitors receive cash awards, in-kind prizes, and build connections within the entrepreneurial community of Humboldt County.
