Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Organic
Helps reduce dryness. A soothing ingredient, emollient, and nourishing. creates a barrier between sensitive skin and the environment and also helps retain moisture. Cocoa Butter contains Vitamin E and also contains phytochemicals (plant chemicals) such as flavanoids that are also strong antioxidants. Polyphenols are very effective at neutralizing free radicals, and the cocoa mass polyphenols are particularly effective. Cocoa Butter contains a number of different antioxidants that can kill off a wide range of different free radicals that destroy your skin cells and lead to premature aging. I do not wear lip stick so this was a nice product to find so I can add a bit of color without the weight of a lipstick. The color looks dark in the tube but when I apply it the color is light, almost a blush pink. This is fine with me as I just want a bit of color but I can layer on to add more color. This lip balm does not stain nor come off too easy but has staying power. The scent is light, fresh and the packaging is amazing and is not another plastic tube I worrying about losing. GREAT color, moisturizing, and a new product that has become a favorite!
