Fire Cupping Therapy – fire and glass cups are used in this traditional Chinese medicine therapy. A vacuum is created using fire to burn out the oxygen in the cup, which is then swiftly placed on the body. This therapy draws blood to the surface of the skin clearing areas of stagnation. Areas where there has been long term stagnation can show on the skin for up to a week.
Guasha Therapy – the skin is lightly scraped using the edge of a ceramic soup spoon or piece of thin jade to release stagnation within the superficial layer of tissues. This process draws blood to the surface in areas that have been lacking flow. This marking on the skin is called petechiae. This can show on the skin for up to a week.
Thai Massage is an ancient form of massage that balances energy in the body and increases movement and flexibility. Massage includes point work along the meridians as well as assisted yoga stretches. Sessions are done on the floor with the client wearing loose, comfortable clothing leaving the body feeling light and invigorated.

Abhyanga massage - the body is massaged with copious amounts of warm oil specific to the clients dosha. Strokes are flowing and rhythmic, allowing the oil to deeply penetrate the skin as whole body naturally detoxifies as the flow of blood and lymph is stimulated.
Vishesh massage is an ayurvedic deep tissue massage, again using lots of warm oil selected specifically to balance the clients dosha. The massage strokes are vigorous and various marma points are used to relieve tension and pain.
Western Massage and Bodywork
Somatic Bodywork helps to reconnect the mind with the body. Through the use of subtle and gentle movement the body is reconnected with the mind. Through specific attention to places of ease and restriction in the body, it is reminded how it can function as intended, tension free.
Swedish Massage is the most classic relaxation and circulatory massage. Oil is massaged into the skin as muscles are worked using moderate pressure to soothe and relax the body.
Deep Tissue Massage is usually specific to the therapeutic treatment of areas of chronic tension due to stress, repetitive movement, injury trauma or surgery. Pin point focus is given to areas where there are adhesions of scar tissue to increase range of motion and allow for release of the surrounding muscles. The work can be intense and at times painful.
Trigger Point Therapy is the focus on specific points of pain and tension within the clients body. These points can be painful themselves or refer pain to other parts of the body. Points are worked with direct pressure to relieve and release muscle tension.
Craniosacral Therapy focuses on balancing the flow of cerebral spinal fluid in the body. A session consists of various holds at specific areas with very little pressure exerted. Sessions are calming and restorative.
Hot Stone Massage incorporates the use of smooth basalt stones of varying sizes with Swedish style massage. The warm and smooth basalt stones have a grounding effect that penetrates muscles, melting away tension. Sessions are deeply relaxing.
Salt Glow is an invigorating and skin smoothing treatment. A blend of California Sea Salt, warm oil and therapeutic essential oils are used to slough away dead skin while detoxifying and softening the skin. The body is left smelling wonderful and feeling silky smooth.
